Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy applies to the Clash Help Center website at clashsolar.com. It explains how data is handled when you browse documentation, choose a client, or follow links on this site. Client software, subscription services, and external websites are governed by their own privacy policies.
1. Data we collect
This is a static website with no account registration and no requirement to provide an email address. You can read guides, consult configuration references, and visit download pages without submitting your name, phone number, subscription URL, or proxy credentials. We do not ask you to upload configuration files or access client settings or proxy traffic on your device.
When your browser requests pages and resources, the site's hosting provider and network services may process your IP address, request time, URL path, browser details, and response status. This technical information helps deliver content, diagnose access issues, and handle unusual requests. A static website can still generate network request logs. How long those logs are retained depends on the hosting environment and operational settings; this policy does not promise a fixed retention period that has not been verified.
2. Analytics and how we use them
We use analytics to understand which pages people read and how they find their way around the site. Data may include pages visited, referring pages, device and browser categories, and interactions such as switching platforms on client download pages. We use this information to make documentation easier to find, identify broken pages, and improve platform links—not to track network activity inside client software.
Your browser and network may provide analytics services with connection details such as your IP address. Avoid adding subscription URLs or other sensitive information to page URL query strings, as they may be recorded as part of the request path. If your browser blocks analytics scripts, results may be incomplete, but the documentation remains available. We do not ask visitors to provide identifying information for analytics.
3. Cookies and local storage
Analytics components may use first-party cookies or browser storage to distinguish visits and reduce duplicate counts. Actual storage depends on the current deployment and your browser. This site has no login session and does not use cookies to store account details. Page tabs may put the selected category in the URL fragment, which is separate from cookies.
You can view or delete this site's cookies and local storage in your browser's site settings, or restrict future storage. Clearing stored data may reset saved preferences; restricting analytics storage may affect visit counts. Browser extensions, private browsing, and device policies can also change storage behavior. To confirm what is stored, check your browser's site data panel.
4. Downloads and third-party links
Download links may lead to app stores or client websites, or redirect through this site to file hosting services. Those services may receive your IP address, browser details, and other data needed to handle the request. Cookies, account sign-ins, payments, and download records after you leave this site are handled by the relevant service and are not directly covered by this policy.
Before installing a client, check the link destination, app name, publisher, and system requirements, and review any security warnings from your operating system. This documentation site operates independently of client software. Importing a subscription, accessing the network, or granting system permissions within a client does not submit that information to this site. Review the privacy policies of your subscription provider and chosen client separately.
5. Policy updates and questions
We will update this page if our data practices, analytics setup, or service scope changes, and revise the month shown at the top. Significant changes will be explained here; the version published on this page is the current policy. Because we do not collect email addresses, we do not send policy updates individually by email.
For configuration and download help, see the FAQ or setup guide and follow the troubleshooting steps to narrow down the issue. Before sharing screenshots or logs, remove subscription URLs, passwords, access tokens, and personal network information. These pages provide instructions and do not ask you to submit sensitive data.
